Boxing runs in Arielle's blood. Her grandfather was an undefeated boxer in the US Navy and the 1954 CA Golden Gloves Light-Heavyweight Champion. Arielle was first introduced to boxing 20 years ago. As a teenager, boxing was simply a form of therapy for Arielle. She never saw herself competing until she and Bobby Carrillo crossed paths years later. After her first fight and win she was hooked. Arielle has been coaching for 10 years and founded Lace Up, Aspen's original boxing gym. She trains everyone with the goal of creating fighters inside and out; whether you decide to enter the ring and fight or not.

Jess is Lace Up's top tier strength and conditioning coach. Her expertise takes our fighters to the next level in their athletic abilities.
Jess interned under an NCAA S&C coach while working closely with the wrestling team. Strength isn't just about lifting weights, it's about unlocking hidden potential, enhancing performance, and creating longevity for yourself and your sports to stand the test of time.
Jess is not just a coach. She is also a competitive freeride skier, former gymnast, and now a boxing enthusiast. She knows firsthand what it's like to chase a dream and bump up against the limits of strength and physical confidence.
Her coaching philosophy is simple: every athlete is unique and deserves unwavering support on their journey. Whether you’re a young athlete with big dreams or a seasoned adult looking to up your game, she is here to provide guidance, expertise, and a little push to smash your goals for long-term success!

Bobby has forgotten more about boxing than most will ever know. He is considered the silent partner. Arielle has taken over the face of boxing in Aspen, but Bobby remains the brains of the operation. Boxing became a part of Bobby's life at 7 years old. His last fight was at age 49. His coaching career began in 1993. His accumulation of boxing knowledge, skills, and life lessons are now shared with Lace Up - the legacy team of the Rude Rockers.

The sport of boxing saved her life. Alice started boxing 7 years ago as a form of release, but soon after fell in love with the sport and it very quickly became her life. Boxing has become and will always be her safe place. Lace Up was the one place she could come to feel like she could be the true and best form of herself. She started competing in 2019, and proved her skills by going the distance against a highly seasoned fighter for only her second fight. Alice has been coaching for 4 years and is now a registered EMT.
